Atma Vani is operated by Impact Digital Services Pvt. Ltd. (India).
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

- Related brands: Sanatani.life, Pujaitems.co.in, YatraVeda.life may be surfaced in Atma Vani (e.g., content, curated products, tours). This Policy covers how Atma Vani processes your data; linked sites may have their own policies.
2) Information we collect
- A) Information you provide
- Account & profile (if created): name, email, phone, language preferences, avatar (optional).
- Text inputs & chat content: questions, prompts, feedback, ratings.
- Voice inputs: audio captured when you tap “Start Voice,” plus transcriptions.
- Support inquiries: messages, attachments, contact details.
- Preferences & consent choices: mic permissions, cookie choices, opt-ins/opt-outs.
- B) Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, device type, OS/browser, timestamps, pages/screens viewed, feature usage (e.g., Start/Stop Voice), crash logs.
- Cookies & similar tech: session cookies, analytics, and preference storage.
- Approximate location: derived from IP (city/region level) to improve performance and language defaults.
- C) Third-party sources
- Auth/identity providers (if used): sign-in status, basic profile.
- Payment providers (if introduced later for subscriptions): payment status (we do not receive your full card details).

IMPORTANT — Training the AI agent
To improve the accuracy, safety, and usefulness of Atma Vani, we may use your text inputs, voice recordings, and transcriptions to further train and evaluate our AI models, including via trusted service providers (e.g., for speech-to-text/text-to-speech, large language models). Where required by law, we rely on your consent for this purpose; otherwise, we rely on legitimate interests in improving the Services. We apply safeguards, such as pseudonymization, redaction, aggregation, and access controls.
- If you wish to request exclusion of your identifiable data from future training, email privacy@atmavani.life (see “Your rights” below). Certain data may still be retained as required by law, for security, or to maintain service integrity.

We require processors to implement appropriate security and use data only per our instructions.

- Voice recordings & transcripts: retained as needed for transcription accuracy, feature improvements, and quality review.
- Account data: retained while your account is active; upon deletion we minimize/erase where feasible, subject to legal holds.
- Logs & analytics: retained for a limited period for security, diagnostics, and trend analysis.
We periodically review and minimize retention where possible.
8) Your choices & rights
- A) Microphone & permissions
- You can disable mic access via your browser/app/OS settings at any time. Some features may not work without mic permission.
- B) Marketing & communications
- If we introduce newsletters/updates, you can unsubscribe via the email footer or by contacting us.
- C) AI training exclusion (where applicable)
- Email privacy@atmavani.life to request exclusion of your identifiable data from future model-training workflows. We will respect your request going forward, subject to legal/technical constraints and limited data kept for safety, security, and service integrity.
- D) Data subject rights (EEA/UK and similar regimes)
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).
- To exercise rights, email privacy@atmavani.life. We may need to verify your identity.
- E) India (DPDP Act) — Consent & withdrawal
- Where we rely on consent (e.g., mic access, training where required), you may withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@atmavani.life. Processing before withdrawal remains lawful.
- F) California (CCPA/CPRA)

We use cookies and local storage to:
